The Base Library is located in the Walters Community Support Center. The library includes an enclosed Children’s Room, a Young Adult Room, two study rooms and a group study room.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our Facility

The library includes an enclosed Children’s Room, a Young Adult Room, two study rooms and a group study room. Computers with Internet access ( both .mil and commercial), DVDs & Blu-rays, binge boxes, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One games are up-front for easy, quick access and selection. Study tables, cubicles and comfortable seating areas are located throughout the library. Feel free to browse through the selection of library materials, study or just enjoy the ambiance.

A self-checkout kiosk can be used with your Library Card # in order to utilize it. Ask the Circulation Desk for your number. A multifunction scanner and fax machine are also available.

Holds

Materials can be placed on hold and you will be notified when the item is ready for pick up. The preferred method of notification is by text message.

Renewals

Renewals can be completed online at http://milrec.bibliovation.com using your log in / password or by calling the circulation desk at (501) 987-6979 during normal operating hours.

Outdoor Material Return

There is an outdoor material return located at the end of the island on the right hand side facing Bldg 940 in the parking lot of the Walters Community Support Center. All library material can be returned in the outdoor material return.

LANGUAGE & CULTURE

Mango Languages

Mango Languages is a digital language learning program for learners of all levels, with courses in over 70 different foreign languages, 21 English Language Learning courses, and 44 specialty courses designed to celebrate world cultures. Each Mango lesson incorporates four key learning components: vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture. Universal Class offers over 500 online courses on a wide range of subjects/levels. Courses are available 24/7, are instructor led and self paced. Some courses offer CEUs.
