5 April - discover outdoors: archery
Ready, aim, and fire up your archery skills! Join Outdoor Recreation on April 5th at the Fiocchi Shooting Sport Complex for a beginner-friendly archery program in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Learn essential techniques, safety, and bow handling while shooting at Olympic-style targets for an authentic experience!
Open to ages 14 and up, $1 per person. Registration ends April 4th.

11 april - junior ranger campout
Join us and the National Park Service for a FREE overnight campout filled with fun and exploration!
Kids will have the chance to earn their NPS Junior Ranger badge, learn essential outdoor skills, and enjoy exciting games. Each participant will receive a Junior Ranger pack that includes activity supplies, a special badge, a compass, a rain gauge, and more. Plus, all food and equipment are provided!
Participants must be at least 6 years old and must be accompanied by a guardian. Limited shared camper lodging is available for ADA accessibility. Register by April 9th to secure your spot!
26 April - explore the national parks: Hot Springs
Relax, recharge, and explore at Hot Springs National Park. Step into the serenity of historic bathing practices with a soak in the natural hot springs at Quapaw Bathhouse, take in the beauty of the Ouachita Mountains, and dive into history with a guided tour of the Fordyce Bathhouse.
Registration deadline is April 25th! Payment options are available, including a one-time payment of $32 or 2 payments of $16! Trip is non-refundable. Don’t miss it, register now!
