Color Guards & Other Civic & Military Ceremonies
Our team performs color guards for functions on Little Rock Air Force Base and the surrounding communities. However, our primary mission is providing military funeral honors. All other functions are secondary and are conducted based on manning availability. Additionally, participation in off-base functions are subject to Department of Defense regulations.
How To Request A Color Guard
- Complete the Color Guard Request Form.
- Email the completed form to 19FSS.FSOH.HonorGuard@us.af.mil
- We’ll call you back to confirm the details as soon as we receive your request.
- The request will be evaluated for compliance with DoD regulations and scheduled based on availability.

ACTIVE DUTY FULL HONORS
Any member currently serving on active duty at the time of death is entitled to a full honors funeral consisting of a 20-person team.

Military Funeral Honors
The Little Rock Honor Guard is dedicated to providing professional and dignified funeral honors for Air Force veterans across the entire state of Arkansas, as well as Shelby and Tipton counties in Tennessee.
If you are requesting honors outside our designated Area of Responsibility, please refer to the Military Funeral Honors Directory. Simply search for the state and county where the service will take place to find the contact information for the appropriate Base Honor Guard.
Important Information:
- Funeral honors can only be rendered once, so please consider this when making arrangements.
- The type of honors provided is based on the member’s duty status at the time of their separation from the Air Force.
We are available 24/7, 365 days a year. If you need military honors, please do not hesitate to contact us.
How to request the Honor Guard
If you are working with a funeral home: Your servicing funeral director must submit the request for honors on your behalf.
If you are scheduling a service without a funeral home please follow these steps:
- Complete the Honor Guard Request Form (see form below).
- Submit the form via email it to 19FSS.FSOH.HonorGuard@us.af.mil.
- Once we receive your request, we will contact you to confirm the details.
- After confirmation, we will schedule a team to provide military honors at the service.
