LRAFB’s Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo is an arts-based convention. Our goal is to bring appreciation for art and literature through comics, graphic novels, anime and gaming. These entities have become popular among children and young adults, but as these “kids” grow older these interests can be viewed as childish. While movies and cosplay have become very popular and a huge part of the excitement for the comic and entertainment industry; the Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo strives to bring the focus back to their true origins by emphasizing the artists, writers and creators themselves.
