Join the Skills Center at The Kenny (WCSC) on May 3 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Expo. This free event is open to all ages and offers something for everyone to enjoy. Guests can look forward to a cosplay contest, art contest, appearances by cosplay characters, a variety of local artists and vendors, interactive games, and more.
The event creates a fun and immersive environment that celebrates creativity across science fiction and fantasy genres, highlighting the work of artists, authors, and creators. Wally’s Café will be offering themed specials throughout the event, perfect for sipping while exploring all the activities.
There will also be plenty of family-friendly fun, including inflatables, card trading, and a themed maze designed especially for kids. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the genre, the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Expo promises a memorable experience for all.

Little Rock Air Force Base’s Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo is an arts-based convention. Our goal is to bring back appreciation for art and literature through comics, graphic novels, anime, and gaming. These entities have become popular among children and young adults, but as these “kids” grow older, these interests can be viewed as childish.
While movies and cosplay have become very popular and a huge part of the excitement for the comic and entertainment industry; the Sci-Fi & Fantasy Expo strives to bring the focus back to their true origins by emphasizing the artists, writers, and creators themselves.

We’re looking for volunteers to help bring our Sci-Fi and Fantasy Expo to life! There are several opportunities to get involved:
April 28 – Help us add some color! We’re seeking volunteers to assist with painting supplies for the event, including our themed maze and villain cutouts. (Some painting experience preferred.)
May 2 – Join us the day before the event to help prep the building and get everything ready for the big day!
May 3 – We need volunteers on event day to assist with setup, teardown, manning games and inflatables, and more!
Whether you’re behind the scenes or in the middle of the action, your support is essential to making this event a success.
As a thank-you, all volunteers will receive a Letter of Appreciation perfect for promotional bullets.

Become a vendor and showcase your prints, memorabilia, handmade products, collectibles, and more at this exciting event!
No base access? No problem! We’ll handle the necessary paperwork to ensure all approved vendors can participate.
Please note: vendors must be 18 or older and able to pass a background check to obtain a Little Rock Air Force Base Visitor’s Pass. Up-to-date registration and proof of insurance is also required for any vehicle that will be driven on the installation.
