Come on out to celebrate the 4th of July holiday with us at our 9th Annual Liberty Fest!
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy performances from Midnight South (Arkansas’ 2024 Country Vocal Group of the Year) and Marybeth Byrd (American Idol Finalist AND Arkansas’ 2024 Best Female Vocalist). Both performers are truly talented and we can’t wait to share the evening with them!
Families are going to have a blast in the kid zone with multiple inflatables, a water slide (bring those towels!), rock wall, bungee trampoline, and more. The kid zone will shut down at 8 pm – be there early to get the most out of the fun.
This year you can sign up (for free) to compete in Firefest’s BBQ competition. Every team will receive a swag bag with $100+ of goodies. Each team will arrive with their grill for set up at 3:00 pm. They will be provided with 100 chicken wings and be given two hours from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm to use whatever seasoning/sauces they think will win them the trophy. From 5:30 pm-7:30 pm people will be able to taste the wings and vote for their favorite. The Grand Champion will receive a Jack Daniel’s Barrelhead and RECTEQ Bullseye Pellet Grill. The reserve champion will receive a Jack Daniels barrelhead, Jack Daniels cooler, and a Blue Hogs Premium Sauce Set. Throughout the BBQ competition, there will also be over $2,500 in prizes and giveaways – you do NOT want to miss this opportunity so sign up HERE before the spots fill up! There will also be a cornhole tournament during the event starting at 6 pm and running until 8 pm. Teams of two can sign up now or on the day of the event. The tournament will take place behind the Jack Daniel’s Spirit Tasting Tent and Hangar 1080s Beer Tent. So, if you like throwing bags in holes and good drinks, this just might be your jam. Firefest - Pitmaster Academy + BBQ Competition

Firefest combines both a fiery BBQ competition & a separate BBQ fundamentals class / demonstration from one of Firefest’s legendary pitmasters.
For the competition, teams are required to bring, unload and pass safety inspection of their own grills and provide their special seasonings to use; Firefest will provide the protein ie. chicken wings.

- Rules/Format: Single game for Rounds 1-3, Best 2 out of 3 Rounds 4-5.

- No outside equipment/All equipment will be provided

How to Enter:
– Participants will visit the Rockin’ at the Rock Info Tent where they will be given a raffle ticket. Entries will only be accepted in-person from 5:00 p.m. until 7:50 p.m. on July 3rd.
-The winner of the giveaway will be announced on the main stage at 8 p.m., July 3rd.

Rules and Exclusions:
-ONE ENTRY PER FAMILY | WINNER MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
-Participants must have some form of military ID to enter the raffle. DBIDS holders and visitors passes are NOT eligible for this raffle.
-Three ticket options will be available for the winner to choose from. Only one option can be selected.
-Winner will have until July 10th, 2024 to communicate with LRAFB Information, Tickets, and Travel which of the three options they prefer. They can be contacted at lrafbitt@gmail.com.
Tickets that will be given away:
2 Universal Orlando 2024, 2-Park, Military Freedom Pass Adult tickets and 2 Universal Orlando 2024, 2-Park, Military Freedom Pass Child tickets (children are ages 3-9. Child tickets can be upgraded to adult tickets, but customer must pay the difference between the child and adult ticket ($5)). Winner must be an Active or Retired member of any branch of the US Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, Coast Guard, and/or a spouse with a valid DOD ID card. 100% Disabled Veterans and DOD Civilians also qualify but must have a valid DOD ID card. DBIDS and VA Cards are not accepted. These tickets are reusable and can be used as many times as desired between now and their expiration (December 20th, 2024). Winner must be present at the parks and present their military ID to check in all tickets purchased under their name. Tickets will provide entry to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort. Tickets include Park-to-Park access meaning the customer can visit both parks in the same day and will be able to ride the Hogwarts’s Express. These tickets do NOT cover cost of hotel or any other travel expenses.
