Family, fun, and spring vibes!
Get ready for a fun-filled day as Family Fest returns on April 19th from 10 AM to 1 PM at Herk Hall! This exciting event is the perfect way to welcome spring with family, friends, and the community.
Enjoy a variety of activities, including egg hunts for all ages, where kids (and even adults!) can join in the fun. Capture the moment with festive photo ops, bounce around on inflatables, and challenge your friends to exciting games. Live music will keep the energy high as you explore the event, while arts and crafts provide a creative outlet for all ages. When it’s time for a break, grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks or private orgs on-site!
This FREE event is open to all, so bring your loved ones and make the most of this springtime celebration!

Join us behind the scenes and help make Family Fest a success! Sign up by filling out the form below and selecting your preferred shift. Volunteers will assist with various tasks, including egg hunts, event setup and teardown, overseeing games and inflatables, and more.

Q: Are outside food and drinks allowed?
A: Yes! While there will be food available for purchase, attendees are allowed to bring their own refreshments.
Q: Will there be food available?
A: Yes! Enjoy a variety of options from food trucks and private organizations, offering food available for purchase.
Q: What activities will be available?
A: A wide variety of activities will take place at Family Fest including bounce houses, photo ops, crafts with the Skills Center, a scavenger hunt for kids, egg hunts, and a DJ!
Q: How will the egg hunt work?
A: Egg hunts will be divided by age groups. During each scheduled time, children can collect eggs and place them in their baskets. Please note that all eggs on the field will be empty. After gathering their eggs, children will bring them to the egg hunt table and empty them into a designated bin. Once they’ve done so, a Family Fest staff member will reward them with a treat bag!
Q: Will there be bathrooms at the event?
A: Yes! There will be several bathroom locations around the event including at Herk Hall, Strike Zone Bowling, and at the Base Chapel.
Q: Will this be an EFMP accessible event?
A: YES! This event is accessible to everyone and will even have an EFMP designated egg hunt.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking will be available at Strike Zone Bowling, The Kenny (WCSC), and along the street on Cannon Dr.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Dress accordingly for the weather! Spring showers are common, so expect the possibility of wet and muddy egg hunt fields, along with puddles in the parking lot. Plan your footwear accordingly!
